Case Study #1 - Velocity

Velocity, a high-performance crypto trading platform on Solana written entirely in Rust. The challenge wasn't just building another trading interface, it was creating infrastructure fast enough to matter in a space where milliseconds determine profitability.

The technical problems were significant: reading blockchain transaction data in real-time without bottlenecks, processing thousands of price updates per second without lag, synchronising state across distributed nodes while maintaining consistency, and optimising WebSocket connections to push updates to traders instantly.

JK came up with an incredible solution included a custom transaction reading system that cut 100ms from data retrieval, but that was just one piece. The entire architecture was built for speed with direct RPC node connections, optimised Solana program interactions, and a data pipeline that processed market movements faster than competing platforms.

The result was live asset prices with latency lower than anything else on the market. In crypto trading, where opportunities appear and disappear in seconds, Velocity gave traders the edge they needed.

Case Study #2 - Incentiv

A Web3 loyalty platform that turns user actions into verifiable, blockchain-backed rewards. Brands create campaigns, complete a purchase, share content, hit fitness goals, attend events, and smart contracts automatically distribute tokens when users complete them.

The blockchain provides immutable proof that actions happened and rewards were earned fairly.

Smart contracts that handle complex conditional logic without burning gas, integrating with real-world data sources to verify off-chain actions, building wallet infrastructure that feels like a normal app, and creating a reward economy that scales sustainably.

We developed oracle systems for action verification, implemented batching to keep transaction costs down, and designed token mechanics that incentivise long-term engagement.

The result was a loyalty system where brands can prove they're rewarding users fairly, and users own rewards that can't be arbitrarily changed or taken away.
